A pianist since childhood, she quickly took pleasure in playing and improvising, particularly under the guidance of her teacher Dominique Merlet: “I loved music; it transported me,” she recalls. “I didn’t find music theory tedious at all. Very soon, I was playing pieces, and the joy was immense.”
As a teenager, she enrolled in the piano-music program at Lycée Racine as well as at the Paris Regional Conservatory (CRR de Paris), studying piano, harmony, and choral music. Her family envisioned her as a concert pianist, until she discovered jazz, a passion she inherited from her mother. She then enrolled at the Bill Evans Piano Academy, which led her to perform on the stages of Parisian jazz clubs such as the Front Page Club and the Caveau de la Huchette.
Around the same time, she began taking theater classes. A career as an actress quickly became her calling. Her first role on the big screen came with director François Armanet in the film *La bande du Drugstore* (2002), followed by leading roles in *La Doublure* (2006), *Notre Univers Impitoyable* (2008), *Paris-Manhattan* (2012), and others…

Alongside her acting career, Alice has remained connected to her first calling: music. In 2006, she composed the soundtrack for ACTEUR, a short film by Jocelyn Quivrin. In 2013, she presented her short film C’EST FINI AVEC LOÏC at the 2013 Talents Adami event at the Festival de
Cannes, for which she composed the original music with Alexis Rault.
Since 2020, she has returned to musical composition. She is preparing a classical concert program to which she is adding some of her own compositions, which she will present at a showcase at STEINWAY in 2022—marking the beginning of a second musical career.
